Postdoctoral applications are sought from highly-motivated, meticulous, and creative candidates to join the laboratory of Robert Svatek, MD, in the Department of Urology, Long School of Medicine, University of Texas Health San Antonio. Dr. Svatek’s research is focused on bladder cancer immune studies and immunotherapy, therefore, a candidate with a background in immunology/cancer immunology, and/or flow cytometry will be highly considered.
The selected candidate will be expected to participate in designing experiments, projects, and studies; conduct experiments involving both human samples and animal models; collaborate with other team members; present research results at local and national meetings; and publish results in high-quality scientific journals.
Candidate should have a PhD in a biological science with relevant lab experience. The candidate is expected to work in a team environment, as well as have good writing and communication skills.
