We have a Postdoctoral position available in the T32 Biology of Aging Training Program for Postdoctoral Research Fellows. This Training Program covers such areas as the mechanisms of aging, lifespan, and intervention analyses in aging and models of age-related diseases. The Program also covers translational-oriented aging research in a wide range of animal models, including marmosets, and early-phase clinical studies in human subjects.

The Mays Cancer Center, an NCI-designated cancer center at UT Health SA, is recruiting postdoctoral fellows for the Cancer Research Training Program, which is funded by an institutional Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (T32 CA148724) from NIH/NCI. The Program supports highly motivated individuals for intensive research training in all aspects of cancer biology under the direction of a faculty mentor in the Program. Heart attacks and stroke are the most common causes of death and disability in the United States and are most often the result of occlusion (blockage) of blood flow to the heart or brain. Well-trained scientists are needed to investigate the causes and complications of these occlusive events.
