The Postdoctoral Research Fellow of the Year Award, which is in its third year, recognizes an outstanding UT Health San Antonio postdoctoral research fellow who has demonstrated not just excellence in research but also accomplishments in other areas, including leadership and service. Nominations were invited from postdoctoral research fellows, faculty mentors and staff.
Dr. Cody Rogers, a postdoctoral fellow in the department of Biochemistry & Structural Biology mentored by Dr. Patrick Sung, was selected from a competitive field of nominees by a faculty committee as the 2025 Postdoctoral Research Fellow of the Year.
