The Annual Postdoctoral Research Mentor of the Year Award recognizes exceptional faculty who mentor postdoctoral research fellows at UT Health San Antonio. As in past years, nominations were invited from current and former UT Health San Antonio postdoctoral research fellows.
This year, Dr. Kumar Sharma, Chief of the Division of Nephrology and Vice Chair for Research in the Department of Medicine, Hillis Chair and Vice Chair of Research, Director of Center for Precision Medicine, was selected by a committee of his peers as the 2025 Postdoctoral Research Mentor of the Year.
