The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs (OPA) sponsors a “Developing Your Mentorship Skills” workshop series whose goals are to introduce effective strategies for successful mentoring to trainees and to foster a mentoring ethos in them. Four consecutive weekly modules explore proven approaches to the development and enhancement of effective mentoring relationships that includes diversity-sensitivity training.
This workshop targets primarily postdoctoral research fellows who directly mentor trainees working biomedical research. A certificate is provided upon completion. Attendance is required at all four modules.
