2024 Winners: 12th Annual San Antonio Postdoctoral Research Forum

The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs hosts the San Antonio Postdoctoral Research Forum (SAPRF) every year during National Postdoctoral Association Week (NPAW) that is sponsored by the National Postdoctoral Association. This year’s SAPRF showcased the research conducted by Postdoctoral Research Fellows from UT Health San Antonio and its partnering institutions: Texas Biomedical Research Institute and the United States Army Institute of Surgical Research.

Dr. Jennifer M. Heemstra, Charles Allen Thomas Professor and Chair of Chemistry at Washington University in St. Louis, delivered this year’s keynote address on “Leadership: How to Be Great at The Job That You (Likely) Weren’t Trained For.” The day featured a variety of activities including Breakout Sessions (with guest speakers on various topics), Data Blitz, Poster Session, and Platform Presentations by postdocs.
