Position Description

A postdoctoral position is immediately available in the laboratory of Dr. Jason Pugh to study the role of cannabinoid receptors in regulation of synaptic plasticity and motor learning in the cerebellar circuit.

Position Requirements

The project is expected to employ whole-cell patch clamp electrophysiology in acute brain slices, calcium imaging using two-photon laser scanning microscopy, expression of exogenous proteins by viral injection, and mouse behavioral experiments. Prospective applicants with a PhD and experience with electrophysiology are encouraged to apply. Training in electrophysiological and two-photon imaging techniques specific to this job can be provided.
