Position Description

Postdoctoral fellow positions are available in the laboratory of Dr. Lu Wang in the Sam and Ann Barshop Institute for Longevity and Aging Studies, Department of Biochemistry and Structural Biology at UT Health San Antonio. We are investigating epigenetic regulation in aging and age- related diseases, with a focus on understanding the regulation of three-dimensional genome organization, DNA and histone modifications in aging, metabolic disorders, and cancer. Our group is supported by funding from NIH and CPRIT. We are particularly interested in applicants with expertise in genomics/epigenetics, computational biology, molecular biology, biochemistry research, and mouse models. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative research environment with state-of-the-art facilities and cutting-edge technologies. Position Requirements

Ph.D. degree in molecular biology, cell biology, genomics, computational biology or related disciplines. Preferred qualifications include experience with molecular biology techniques and animal work. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, creative, and collaborative.
